Again, I am lazy today (toilet repair issue and now not in the mood. lol). The flow is Spiralgraph which I stroked with a yarn brush that I applied brush dynamics (love the new GIMP 2.8 brush dynamics feature), followed by Droste and then used Mehdi's Kaleidoscope filter to create the actual seamless texture. Posted the yarn brush here ([link]). What I did was copy the vertical positioned brush and used the Clipboard brush for the stroke. Of course I desaturaated and enhaned the result too (lace is white not yellow/orange. lol).
Now I already have created a tute on making Droste spirals which I used for part of this render (why I didn't link you to that tut might be related to fatigue; lol). Once I created the spyralgraph render and stroked it with the brush (it's already circular so no need for Pan to Bow step), I used the tut below in the Droste step followed by Mehdi's Kaleidoscope filter.
Thanks for sharing!
